Literally millions and millions of animals are abandoned or needlessly euthanized every year in this country.

Please support your local animal shelter...

Bailey was my first dog.  She was adopted through the St. Francis Humane Animal Protection Society in 1987 and introduced me to the world of dogs.  She went almost everywhere with me and was a most wonderful companion for almost fifteen years.

Bo was adopted from the Roice-Hurst Humane Society near Grand Junction, Colorado in November, 2001.  He is a most remarkable, unforgettable dog.

Colorado Animal Rescue (C.A.R.E.) is the rescue shelter where I work as a volunteer and is located outside of Glenwood Springs; Bo and I took a liking to a three month old border collie puppy awhile ago...

Jackson came to live with us in September, 2008 and is an agility and flyball fanatic.  Bo is teaching him how to swim and go fishing, and he's coming along nicely.

I first Met Harry at C.A.R.E. in August, 2009 and he was one scared puppy. I thought I'd bring him home to live with us for a few days while I worked with him. Five months later, we were still in the middle of an adventure together...
